Le caratteristiche principali sono quelle evidenziate in grassetto. Come possiamo notare, nessuna nota ufficiale riguardante processore e relative prestazioni. Il processore di Amazon Kindle Fire è un dual-core 1GHz TI OMAP 4. Per quanto riguarda le restanti componenti hardware, spicca la qualità del display multitouch da 7 pollici che, in rapporto al prezzo complessivo dell’intero dispositivo.
Memoria interna da 8GB, con possibilità di utilizzare un cloud direttamente sui server Amazon. La quantità di spazio disponibile ptrebbe quindi definirsi infinita. Possibilità di connessione di periferiche USB 2.0 tramite la relativa porta collocata sul lato del dispositivo.
In conclusione, Amazon Kindle Fire può essere davvero definito il principe dei low cost Android tablet, caratterizzato da un rapporto qualità prezzo impressionante.
